GOES Rebroadcast Receiving Station

The installation of GOES Rebroadcast (GRB) receiving antennas for the East and West operational satellites at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) continues the 20-plus year legacy of collection and distribution of real-time GOES imagery and products to the science community for research and applications, to private sector users, and to the public.

The Marshall scientists support NOAA with GOES algorithm and product development and sensor validation, and conduct detailed scientific investigations on the energy and water cycles supporting NASA research investigations and field programs, and real-time weather and disaster applications in conjunction with our partner organizations and agencies.
