Meetings - Abstract
Jason Burks National Weather Service Forecast Office in Huntsville Alabama has been ingesting the Source values from the Lightning Mapping Array in Northern Alabama. This presentation discusses how the Lightning Mapping Array is being ingested and viewed in the AWIPS visualization system. The files that were modified to incorporate the LMA data in AWIPS and some of the issues we had to overcome to address notification of the product on a 2 minute temporal resolution.
