Cape Canaveral Air Force Station Tour
Two tours are being offered as part of the Southern Thunder 2009 Workshop. The first is a tour of the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station and 45th Weather Squadron weather operations. The tour will begin at 1:00 PM on Monday, 27 July and last approximately 3 – 4 hours. It may also include visits to some weather instrumentation sites as well as historical launch pads, time and weather permitting. The second tour is a behind-the-scenes look at Space Shuttle operations at Kennedy Space Center. It will occur Friday morning, 31 July. The tour is scheduled to begin at the hotel at 8am and conclude at 1pm back at the hotel.

The registration for the Kennedy Space Center tour is found under the KSC Tour in the Activities tab. Please fill out the form and return to Todd McNamara (Todd.McNamara@patrick.af.mil) by 12 June 2009. Note that there are separate forms for U.S. citizens and foreign visitors for the CCAFS tour.
