AWIPS is software designed for operational weather forecasters. User guides are available to display NUCAPS in AWIPS can be. UNIDATA offers a free desktop client (CAVE) to visualize NUCAPS in the AWIPS framework.
Note: Only NOAA-20 is available via SBN. By Request, NASA SPoRT can provide access to observations from S-NPP. Additionally, NASA SPoRT can provide access to Modified NUCAPS and the JPL Forecast product from both S-NPP and NOAA-20. |
